Meet Lauren

Hello! I’m Lauren. I work with college students as a campus minister and an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church. I love getting to support young people through challenging times and cheer them on as they discover who they are and what they believe.

I hope to bring the same intention to motherhood. As a mother, I will listen to my child with empathy and compassion. Above all, I want our child to know they are unconditionally loved and good enough--no matter what!

What I Love About Lauren

Lauren is a caring and empathetic person who has devoted the last several years of her life to helping young people navigate the complexities of life. She is a social person who values her friends and family, especially her new little niece. Lauren is devoted to moderation, always encouraging others to avoid divisiveness and extremes. She also makes a conscious effort to grow herself, improve, and learn on multiple fronts, following John Wesley’s motto of “moving on to perfection” (meaning always trying to be a better person to live more like Jesus).
